Department of Basic Education, GoUP & HCL Foundation came together to launch the State Open Educational Resource (SOER) portal. This portal hosts a repository of Open Educational Resources for elementary education. It has been mapped and categorized on the 5E model as presented in the content manual. It also has a compendium of questions which have been categorized on the basis of difficulty level & the KUSA model, i.e. Knowledge, Understanding, Skill, Application.
Teachers, educators, practitioners can use this portal to access content as well as download practice sheets. It shall be one of its kind and will cater to a large number of teachers in the state as well as outside. The vision is to bridge the gap between technology and learning in schools. A cost effective model which shall give the freedom of access to open educational resources and lead to sustainable efforts in the field of technology enabled learning.
